What is Your Relationship With Your Dog Like?

Dogs are incredible. They will be your best friend, and will listen to every word you have to say. All you have to do is call for your doggie and he or she will come right to you. Your dog will put you ahead of all others, and will go out of his or her way to make you feel special. A human dog relationship is one of the sweetest relationships anyone could ever ask for.   

When you first get a puppy, you may not have any idea of what to name it.  Sometimes it can be hard to come up with the most perfect name for a pet.  But once you find that perfect name, it won’t take very long at all for your doggie to learn that it’s just for him! 

At least, in a perfect world, all of this would go very smoothly.  Unfortunately, it doesn’t always do as such.  You can love your pet(s) all you want to, but that still doesn’t mean you have a perfect relationship with your dog. When you take your dog for classes and work with him everyday yourself, he will always be receiving attention.  He will especially love getting attention from you!  This will really increase the bond that the two of you have.  Your dog will learn to always focus on you, which will with his obedience training.  Dogs enjoy being motivated, and you can motivate yours with toys, praise, and treats! 

Treat the dog with respect, and you’ll receive it yourself.  When training your dog, whenever you tell him or her to do something, such as “sit” or “stay”, always give out a reward every time the dog obeys.  This will really help out with your natural dog training efforts.   If you ever run into any problems with training your dog on your own, you can take him or her to a school and allow professionals to do their work. 

If you ever hope to solidify the bond you have with your dog, you need to learn about all the techniques and take him/her to a good dog training class.  Whichever discipline you prefer, you need to go all out with it.  With just a bit of time, patience, and money, your relationship with your pup can lat forever!  As long as you’re willing to put in effort to your relationship with dogs, your dog will do everything that it can to please you too!
